Primary Key Stage Concerts

LSO Schools Concerts are designed especially for Key Stages 1 and 2, which take place each term at the Barbican Centre. Each concert features the LSO and is presented by an LSO Animateur.

The programmes include interesting and relevant repertoire, as well as a participation songs written especially for each Key Stage Concert. Teacher INSET and preparation sessions are held around six weeks before each concert; these are highly recommended and very popular. At the INSET, teachers are introduced to specially written classroom projects, extension tasks, and learn the best and easiest ways to teach their children the participation songs. Teachers also receive a Project Pack, recordings of the participation songs, and help preparing their children for the concert.

Booking is now open for the Summer 2013 Key Stage 1 and 2 Concerts.

Key Stage 1: Giraffes Can't Dance - Friday 7 June; 11am and 12.10pm.

Key Stage 2: America! - Wednesday 8 May; 10.40am and 12pm.
