Join Paul Rissmann and the Orchestra on a musical journey through the most magical, spine-tingling, treasure-finding, star-blazing scores for the big screen. Featuring the unforgettable sounds of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and many more. Bring along your own instrument to join in with the orchestra too.

Pre-concert workshops 10.30am –1pm
Get those creative juices flowing ready for the afternoon’s performance in exciting workshops based on the concert theme. You will get the chance to compose music alongside members of the LSO, as well as making your own props to take into the concert.

Arrive early for the Family Concert to join in our exciting pre-concert events and activities.
Crèche 2–4pm
For families with younger siblings, a free crèche is available for children aged 6 months to 6 years.

Audience Participation
You will be able to download the instrumental and parts for the audience participation piece, Space Travel Song, by clicking here. It's to the tune of The Happy Wanderer which you can listen to courtesy of The Muppets on the 'Audio and Video' tab.
Calling all budding illustrators!
During the LSO’s performance of 'The Infernal Dance' from The Firebird, we are planning to project images above the orchestra on the Barbican Stage which describe the story and Stravinsky’s wonderful music. We would like you to draw these pictures for us! Listen to the music (click on the 'Audio & Video' tab), read the story here and let your imagination run wild. Then come and spot your picture in the concert!
