Silk Street Improvement Works
The City of London is working to improve the street scene of Silk Street over the coming months. This work will take place in phases from 21 June 2014 until 20 February 2015.

Bus Route 153 stops outside the Barbican in Silk Street, starting from outside Liverpool Street Station.

The Barbican has four freephones from which you can pre-book a taxi from Computer Cabs plc using a credit card. These are situated at:

Barbican car parks operate a pay-on-foot system.

The Barbican is well sign-posted and has four car parks, all of which can be accessed from Silk St. There is a height restriction of 1.85 metres (6'1").
Disabled patrons can obtain a free car park voucher by presenting their orange badge at the Box Office, Information Points and kiosks in Cinemas 1 and 2. The best place to park is in Car Park 3 off Silk St.
The Barbican has a number of cycle racks available for customers. Eight are located at the entrance to Car Park 5 and five are located at the exit to Car Park 3. Cycle helmets and other equipment can be left in any of the Barbican's free cloakrooms. There is a rack of TfL's Barclays Cycle Hire scheme bicycles located on Silk Street ust outside the main entrance to the Centre.

A free cloakroom service is available immediately prior to performances. The main cloakroom on the Stalls floor is open from 5.15pm until 30 minutes after the concert.
