An all-Brahms programme conducted by Daniel Harding, the LSO’s Principal Guest Conductor. The joyous and lyrical Third Symphony is followed by the Second Piano Concerto, a piece conceived on a magnificent scale, full of drama and passion, but also warmth and beauty. American pianist Emanuel Ax, who has collaborated with Daniel Harding on many occasions, has a particular affinity with Brahms’s music.
