As part of a weekend commemorating the centenary of World War I, post-graduate students from the Guildhall School perform songs of remembrance, geared especially towards families and young children.
Life within the LSO (founded in 1904) changed dramatically during the Great War. As we hear these wonderful songs we'll also reflect on some of the personal stories from musicians caught up in the conflict. Stories and images unearthed from the LSO archives will be woven into the songs and projected on to large screens.
This concert forms part of the Family Arts Festival 2014. For more information about other LSO events in this year's festival, please visit http://lso.co.uk/family-arts-festival.
Tickets: free - just turn up
