The LSO Discovery Conducting Masterclass is an innovative project giving three conductors at the start of their careers a unique opportunity to work with the LSO. This year, the aspiring professionals will be coached by LSO Principal Guest Conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, conducting Britten Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, and movements from Copland Short Symphony No 2, and Shostakovich Symphony No 5.
