From concerts to award ceremonies, wedding receptions to conferences, dinners to standing functions, the Jerwood Hall is a highly versatile space able to accommodate up to 400 guests. We keep our team small and guarantee a high level of personal service. Our experienced event managers will oversee every aspect of your booking, from your initial enquiry through to locking the building at the end of your event.

Rehearsals, Performances, Recordings & Filming
The Jerwood Hall is a multi-purpose, versatile performance space, with acoustics that are renowned for their excellence. The acoustic and technical facilities of a modern concert hall combine with original 18th-century features to create a unique and atmospheric venue. Acoustic banners that flank the walls and ceiling are designed to provide maximum versatility, and our experienced stage and technical teams help you take full advantage of the venue’s set-up.
We can arrange to open the Café for light refreshments during your rehearsal while a public bar is provided for all public concerts. A Green Room with ensuite facilities for your conductor or director is included in the venue hire for rehearsals. Most hire packages include use of the Steinway D Concert Grand piano, orchestral and cello chairs, Manhasset music stands and staging blocks that can be erected to your requirements at a variety of heights, or a stage (maximum size of 12m x 6m).
Banquets and Receptions, Wedding Receptions, Christmas Parties, Conferences and Meetings
Just a few minutes’ walk from either Old Street or Barbican tube station, LSO St Luke’s combines the convenience of a City location with the wow-factor of a unique, heritage space. With flexible layouts, good sightlines, excellent acoustics, breakout rooms, in-house technical staff and internet access throughout, LSO St Luke’s is an ideal venue for meetings and conferences with a difference. Our in-house technical team is experienced in providing high-quality sound, projection and lighting for meetings and conferences, and will work with you to prepare a bespoke costing for your event.
For private events, to ensure the highest level of service, clients are asked to work with one of the caterers’ associated production teams or our affiliated event management company.
Technical & Stage Facilities
We have a wide range of technical equipment available to hire, as well as links with a number of recommended sound, lighting and audio-visual equipment providers. Our technical team are experienced in preparing sound and lighting for concerts, conferences, formal dinners and evening parties, and can advise you on designing your event.
