Open rehearsals & workshops

Observing an orchestra at work can often be very illuminating! LSO Discovery offers the chance to attend open LSO rehearsals at the Barbican and LSO St Luke's, and some of the soloists performing with the LSO at the Barbican take part in Artist Conversations, in which the audience in the hall, and often across the world via internet and video conference, has the chance to ask them questions.

There are also plenty of opportunities to observe workshops and masterclasses with some of the best of this countries young musicians taking part in our Young Talent schemes, including the Panufnik Young Composers Scheme, the Conducting Scheme, UBS Soundscapes: Pioneers and Centre for Orchestra Masterclasses.
