Paul Mann was the winner of the 1998 Donatella Flick Conducting Competition.
Amongst the orchestras he has worked with are the Orquesta Simfonica de Barcelona, Orchestre National de Lille, Bergen Philharmonic, Luxembourg Philharmonic, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic, St Petersburg Philharmonic, Orchestra dell’Arena di Verona, Flemish Radio, Copenhagen Philharmonic, the BBC Orchestras, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony and the Hallé. Recent and forthcoming highlights include return engagements to the Malaysian Philharmonic, Orchestre de Bretagne, Auckland Philharmonia, Orchestre National de Lille, RAI Torino and concerts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Real Orquesta Sinfonica de Sevilla, Orquesta Sinfonica de Bilbao and Orquesta Sinfonica del Principado de Asturias.
He was Chief Conductor of the Odense Symphony Orchestra in Denmark until 2008
