Born in Hyogo, Japan, Mizuho graduated from Kyoto Art University, specialising in violin under Himari Umehara. She moved to Italy to study violin with Paolo Franceschini and Francesco Pepicelli. She earned her Master’s degree in violin from the Conservatoire of Music of Perugia, followed by a second Master’s in viola. She then refined her viola playing with Simonide Braconi, Luca Ranieri, and Danilo Rossi.
Mizuho has collaborated with various orchestras in both Japan and Italy. As her career progressed, she became Principal Viola of the Orchestra da Camera di Perugia and later of the Camerata Strumentale Città di Prato. Since 2021, she was a member of the Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento. As a chamber musician, she was a member of Ensemble Kinari and also part of NEXT, a contemporary quartet. Mizuho joined the viola section of the LSO in 2023.
