The Monday Club is a series of music workshops for disabled and/or neurodiverse adults, their supporters and carers, who meet roughly once a month at LSO St Luke’s from 11am to 3pm on a Monday. Participants may attend alone, with family members or supporters, or as part of a group from local day or residential centres. No prior instrumental experience is needed.
The workshops are inspired by repertoire being performed by the LSO, and the group’s diverse life experiences. United by a love of music, participants compose, improvise and create music together, alongside LSO musicians and workshop leader Mark Withers.
There are occasional taster days for new groups and every year there is an opportunity for a small group to perform alongside LSO musicians.
LSO St Luke’s has ramp access, lifts to all levels, and an accessible toilet. Visit this page for more information about accessibility at LSO St Luke’s.
