Creative Days

Led by LSO Workshop leader Rachel Leach and LSO musicians, these day-long workshops at LSO St Luke’s equip primary school teachers and other staff teaching music with the skills to take a creative and hands-on approach to composing music in the classroom.

As part of each Creative Day you will be invited to attend an LSO evening concert, free of charge, at the Barbican Centre to hear the full London Symphony Orchestra perform.

In addition to termly Creative Days, we also run a year-long CPD programme for primary teachers, Music in the Classroom. Creative Days explore some of the content of this year-long programme, and are therefore an ideal way to experience our ways of working before you apply for Music in the Classroom.
