Written by animateur Rachel Leach, the pack is designed to help you use Ravel's Bolero in the classroom as a creative tool, and features easy warm-up activities, a step-by-step guide to composition and links to amazing HD footage of the LSO performing Ravel's famous work.

 

Available as an iBook (with embedded media for iPad) and a pdf file, this document is designed to help teachers of Key Stage 3 age students develop classroom projects around Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring. Using the recordings available on LSO Play as resources, you'll be able to introduce your students to the instruments of the orchestra, and help break down the performance into its constituent rhythmic and melodic parts.
