Innovative, disruptive and altogether without apology, BBC Radio 3 Open Ear presents music from the leading edge of the UK's contemporary scene.
BBC Radio 3 Open Ear concerts take place at 7pm on four Saturdays throughout the year. Presented by Radio 3's Sara Mohr-Pietch, recent performers have included The Riot Ensemble, Kerry Andrew, Elaine Mitchener, Abstruckt Ensemble, Alexander's Annexe and Ipek Gorgun.
The action rotates between separate stages in LSO St Luke's Jerwood Hall, and there's always opportunity to hear from the artists and composers.
Experimental music for voices and marshmallows? Right this way ... This Open Ear we're joined by Larry Goves contemporary group House of Bedlam and London/Oslo duo BirdWorld (Gregor Riddell on cello and electronics, and Adam Teixeira on drums and percussion).
