The London Symphony Chorus and the Verdi Requiem


On Sunday 18 and Tuesday 20 September the London Symphony Chorus will join the Orchestra for a performance of Verdi's Requiem, a work that the Chorus have been performing for 50 years.

Founded in 1966, the London Symphony Chorus has a long history of performing Verdi's theatrical Requiem. As they celebrate their 50th anniversary this year, we take a look at some of the most memorable performances in the Chorus' history.
