We are pleased to share more performances from the LSO's digital concert archive.
These concerts will be streamed for free on our YouTube channel and available for 48 hours after broadcast.

Curated by Soundhub composers Alex Ho and Sun Keting, this concert features new music written for LSO musicians, plus varied works by LSO Soundhub Associates.

New Music, New Ideas

A week that shines the spotlight on composers who have been a part of the LSO’s Panufnik, Jerwood Composer+ and Soundhub schemes. We'll be sharing blogs, playlists and music by these artists, as well as getting an insight into the work of the composers who are part of the newly released Panufnik Legacies III album.

The Panufnik Composers Scheme was devised by the LSO in association with Lady Panufnik, in memory of her late husband, the composer Sir Andrzej Panufnik. This week discographer Philip Stuart is taking a look into the LSO archive of recordings with Panufnik in mind.

Focus on Jerwood Composer+
Supported by Jerwood Arts, Jerwood Composer+ supports early-career composers in programming, planning and delivering chamber-scale concerts in the Jerwood Hall at LSO St Luke’s, including work of their own developed through the scheme.


Friday 26 June
Focus on the Panufnik Composers Scheme
The Panufnik Composers Scheme offers six emerging composers each year the opportunity to write for a world-class symphony orchestra, guided by renowned composers Colin Matthews and Christian Mason.


Panufnik Legacies III
Conducted by François-Xavier Roth, this newly released album showcases music by some of the most exciting young composers working in the UK today. Today we are celebrating the release with words and insight from the composers themselves.

Based at LSO St Luke’s, LSO Soundhub provides a flexible environment where composers can explore, collaborate and experiment, with access to vital resources, support from industry professionals and LSO members and staff.

Tangram Voices Online
This online concert, curated and organised by artist collective Tangram, features four current and former LSO composer scheme members. Catalysing transnational imagination and celebrating the vitality of Chinese cultures, Tangram presents an concert featuring a series of solo musicians traversing classical, dream folk, and new music. They will perform world premieres by Jasmin Kent Rodgman (Jerwood Composer+ alumni), Raymond Yiu (Panufnik Composer Scheme alumni), Beibei Wang and Reylon, and music by LSO Soundhub composers Sun Keting and Alex Ho.
