The London Symphony Orchestra is saddened to hear of the death of Roger Groves, former member of the Trombone section.

Roger Groves joined the LSO in 1975 and was a member of the Trombone section for over ten years. He can be heard on the Star Wars soundtrack. He sat on the Board of Directors from 1984-85. Roger passed away on 26 April 2023 after a brave battle with cancer.
