With applications to join the LSO Discovery Youth Choirs closing on Friday 25 June, we asked those involved in the choirs – the conductors, staff, accompanists, and young people themselves – to tell us all about what makes it so special to them.
The LSO Discovery Choir encourages young people aged 8 to 18 in the local community, of all abilities and from all backgrounds, to find their voice and experience the joys of singing and making music, all while making new friends.
Both choirs are currently recruiting new members for the academic year September 2021 to July 2022. The deadline to apply to join is 4pm Friday 25 June via the application form on our website. Places will be allocated for one year following a selection day in July.
