Always Playing: Summer Shorts

During July and August we will be bringing you weekly a series of short recitals, Summer Shorts, by LSO musicians, live from LSO St Luke's and available to watch on YouTube. Please see below for the full schedule and links to watch.

A statement from the London Symphony Orchestra following
Prime Minister’s announcement at noon Friday 31 July

The pilot concert performances held at LSO St Luke’s were proving to be successful and feedback from the small number of audiences who have attended felt that safety, hygiene and social distancing procedures were robust and effective. The remaining three concerts will still take place and be recorded for digital delivery, without an audience.

Obviously this is disappointing news but keeping our audiences, musicians and staff safe is our top priority. We hope very much that this is a temporary pause in the gradual move to indoor music making with an audience in attendance.
