Forget what you think you know about classical concerts and come share the joy of live music-making.

Conjuring up a host of fantastic images through sound, the LSO and its new Assistant Conductor Elim Chan along with young people from across East London present a spectacular evening of music. Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition is interwoven with musical illustrations created by 90 primary school children with composer Rachel Leach before the nation's favourite piece of classical music, Vaughan Williams' uplifting The Lark Ascending, receives an outing courtesy of LSO Leader Gordan Nikolitch. Then to round off this unforgettable evening, the Orchestra is joined by young musicians to perform Howard Moody's suffragette-themed Deeds Not Words, with the composer himself acting as conductor.
