There's a lot more to French composer Ravel than his famous Bolero!
This fun pre-concert workshop will highlight luscious melodies and hidden ideas in Ravel's Mother Goose, a work which depicts well-known fairytales through fascinating compositional techniques. Young people, parents and other family members will be invited to join in and make their own music, based on the main themes, with the help of LSO musicians and LSO Discovery presenter and composer Michael Betteridge.
Everyone is then invited to the main hall to see the London Symphony Orchestra play the full piece in concert (7.30pm – click here for more details)
PLEASE NOTE: Workshops ticket includes entry to evening concert – concert tickets do not need to be purchased separately
