A morning watching Fabio Luisi conduct two 19th-century masterpieces, Brahms' German Requiem and Schubert's Eighth Symphony, followed by afternoon discussion and chamber music.
The event will begin at the Barbican Centre in the morning, moving to LSO St Luke's for the afternoon.
Timetable
10am–1pm: Watch the LSO at work from the stalls at the Barbican Hall, as they rehearse Schubert Symphony No 8 ‘Unfinished’ and Brahms mighty German Requiem, conducted by Fabio Luisi.
2.30–5pm: An afternoon of words and music at LSO St Luke’s with a lecture and discussion presented by Dr Katy Hamilton, followed by a song recital performed by musicians from the Guildhall School.
