Promoted by Thames Youth Orchestra

Simon Ferris conducts Thames Youth Orchestra as they perform a night of American music. With film music, Latin rhythms and lush Americana, the night will include 20th century favourites from Gershwin, Copland, Bernstein and Korngold. Professional commitments permitting, Thames Youth Orchestra will also be joined by Simon Callow, who will be narrating Copland’s A Lincoln Portrait.

The Thames Youth Orchestra is comprised of young musicians from over twenty schools in South West London, playing diverse and challenging modern repertoire.
