A study day delving into the enduring power of the Faust legend and its influence on music. Journalist and broadcaster Tom Service is joined by LSO Choral Director Simon Halsey for discussion and expert insight in the morning, followed by access to the LSO’s afternoon rehearsal with the London Symphony Chorus of Berlioz’s The Damnation of Faust, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.

Change of times
Owing to changes in the Orchestra’s schedule it has been necessary to change the times of the Discovery Day. The morning session will now run from 11.15am to 12.45pm in the Fountain Room, and the afternoon's open rehearsal will now start at 2pm. The day will finish at 5pm.
