The Academy of Ancient Music performs Baroque and Classical chamber music from Central Europe.

Performing on historical instruments, they take a tour of Central Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries with chamber music from Germany, Italy and France. In this concert, they focus on Germany, injecting the works of Handel, Telemann and Bach with the spirit and style with which they were first performed.

Recorded for future broadcast on BBC Radio 3
