Celebrate the irrepressible creativity and community spirit of Culture Mile with plenty of opportunities to get stuck in!

Explore your creativity on Sunday 17 February with a jam-packed day of exciting activities. Try your hand at pottery in our interactive workshops, and make your mark in a unique art installation. Or explore new sounds and new instruments in our music workshops, and tire your little ones out in our colourful playroom.


  • Can I turn up and leave at any time? Yes, people are free to drop in and out of the takeover day.
  • Can I buy food? Free food will be available.
  • What age range is it suitable for? All ages are welcome, from 9 days to 99 years.
  • Do I have to pay for any of the activities inside? All of the activities are free.
