Pianist Alice Sara Ott assembles a cast of musical collaborators for this new series, teaming up with violinist Ray Chen for the first instalment.

Alice Sara Ott is a one-of-kind musician – a dazzling virtuoso as a soloist, a talented illustrator and designer, and a committed chamber musician, who relishes the opportunity to collaborate with other artists. For this series of BBC Radio 3 Concerts, Alice welcomes some of her closest colleagues for performances that showcase the joy of making music with others. For the first instalment, she is joined by another young star, violinist Ray Chen.

Change of Programme

At the request of the soloists, Grieg’s Violin Sonata No 2 will now be performed, in place of Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No 9, ‘Kreutzer’.
