Join in with free-form electronic music making with our partners Heart n Soul. No experience necessary, you just need to have fun! Get your hands on synthesisers, drum machines, transform your voice alongside players and instruments from the LSO and let’s do it as a group... the POWER SOUND GROUP!

You can drop in and play different musical instruments, including a new inventions called the Strummi, a string instrument that uses real guitar strings and digital guitar-like sound.

You will also get the chance to experience what the London Symphony Orchestra feels like by wearing a sound shirt.

The day will include:

  • Chill-out zone – relax in a quiet space and explore our online play-space LSO Play.
  • Arts and Crafts drop in where you add to the Tree of Ideas
  • Café – you can buy drinks and snacks in the café, or bring your own lunch to eat here.
  • Try an instrument – opportunities to try different instruments helped by LSO musicians.

Generously supported by Youth Music, Masonic Charitable Foundation, and the John Horniman's Children's Trust.
