Immerse yourself in the rhythms, sounds and folk roots of music by Czech composers in this chamber music series at LSO St Luke's.

Running parallel to Sir Simon Rattle's exploration of Czech music, and the folk traditions behind it, with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican, this series of BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime Concerts at LSO St Luke's takes a look at solo and chamber music by Czech composers. To conclude the series, the Meccore Quartet show us how composers throughout Czech history have written for strings.

Change of programme
Please note that the Meccore Quartet will perform Janácek's String Quartet No 1 'Kreutzer Sonata' instead of String Quartet No 2 'Intimate Letters' as was printed in some early listings.

Recorded for future broadcast on BBC Radio 3
