Want to know more about classical music but not sure where to start? Make the most of your lunchbreak and enjoy a free, 45-minute informal concert at LSO St Luke’s.
In this concert, we’ll be exploring Mozart's ominous and intense Fifteenth String Quartet. There will be introductions from presenter Nigel Simeone, who’ll tell you more about the music and the instruments, and you’ll have the chance to ask Nigel and the musicians your own burning questions.
Each concert begins at 12.30pm and lasts for 45 minutes. The Café is open for light refreshments before the concert from 11.30am and after the concert until 2pm.
Free Relaxed Performance 11.15–11.45am
Relaxed performances are specially tailored for people with autism, sensory and communication impairments and learning disabilities. Babies under one year old are welcome, but please consider how older children may affect the experience for other audience members and the performers. Contact [email protected] to find out more.
Change of Programme
Please note that, in a change to early listings, Mozart's String Quartet No 15 in D Minor will be performed in place of Dvořák's String Quartet No 12, ‘American’.
