Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble Stile Antico are joined by oud-player Rihab Azar and Woven Gold, the London-based choir of refugees and asylum-seekers, to explore displacement and exile. Their concert includes John Dowland’s probing cycle of seven pavans probing cycle of seven pavans, Lachrimae, with new texts from poet Peter Oswald based on the testimonies of modern-day refugees and migrants, as well as Bodrum Beach, a piece composed for the project by Giles Swayne.
