BBC Radio 3 invites leading soloists into the spotlight for this special lunchtime series presenting their musical personas on the stage of LSO St Luke’s in programmes spanning the 19th century to the present day.

Fulfil your afternoon with the musical sounds of some of the brightest young classical artists around, with a selection of repertoire that makes them shine.

'What Simon Höfele does with his trumpet is simply sensational!' wrote one critic when this young German trumpeter released his debut album Mysteries in 2018, and as a BBC New Generation Artist from 2017 to 2019, we’re sure to be hearing lots more of Höfele’s fearless, thrillingly expressive playing.
