In 2021 BBC Radio 3 invites three leading soloists into the spotlight for this special lunchtime series presenting their musical personas on the stage of LSO St Luke’s in programmes spanning the 19th century to the present day. Start your afternoon with the musical sounds of some of the brightest young classical artists around, with a selection of repertoire that makes them shine.
Making his LSO debut as a composer in April, 2021 is an exciting year for Mark Simpson as he takes to the stage as soloist this summer performing works for clarinet by Weber and Gavin Higgins.
