An ensemble of LSO musicians dazzle in a free interactive concert at LSO St Luke's. With music that takes us from Russia to Spain and back to the UK with Daniel Kidane's breathtaking Dappled Light.

LSO Local returns for a second year, a weekend of performances all over London, devised and led by the musicians of the LSO.

This concert will be performed at 11am and 1pm on Saturday 31 July.

We are doing everything we can to make your visit safe and enjoyable. Below are answers to some FAQs, and you can find further information here.

How are seats at LSO St Luke's arranged?

Seating will be unallocated so you will be free to sit wherever you wish. 25% of seats in the Stalls will remain empty so that - when you arrive - you can choose to sit with or apart from other audience members. There will be a number of set socially-distnaced seats available.

What other safety measures are in place once inside?

  • Staff and audience members are encouraged to wear a face covering inside LSO St Luke's at all times unless exempt.
  • 25% of seats in the Stalls will remain empty so that you can choose to sit apart from others if you wish.
  • The hall and each seat will be cleaned between performances.
  • A one-way system is in operation so you can move safely through the venue.
  • Hand sanitising stations are positioned at the entrance and around the building.
  • Programme notes are now solely digital and donation points use contactless technology.
  • An official NHS QR code poster is displayed at the entrance to the venue, so visitors can 'check in' on the NHS Test & Trace app.
  • Audience members are asked not to arrive earlier than 30 minutes before concerts.

What happens if a concert is cancelled or postponed?

In the event of cancellations or postponements, all audience members will be notified in advance.

What if I or someone I know develops Coronavirus symptoms before the concert?

Please stay at home if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 or if you’ve recently been in contact with someone who has the virus. Tickets can be exchanged for another concert or credit vouchers valid for six months.
