The Music
The evening opens with Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel, a playful prankster whose antics end in a dramatic conclusion. Lisa Batiashvili joins the LSO for Mozart’s Violin Concerto No 5, a work of elegance and grace. Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique takes us on a wild, drug-fueled hallucination of unrequited love, culminating in a riotous musical adventure.
