The Concert
Visionary jazz singer Teodora Brody presents an incredible evening of music from her album Rhapsody, featuring world premiere vocal arrangements of widely loved classical repertoire.
The Music
Performing with the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Robert Ziegler, Teodora brings an entirely fresh perspective to the music of J S Bach, Béla Bartók, Ludwig van Beethoven, George Enescu and Johann Pachelbel by fusing the worlds of classical, jazz and world music.
The Performers
With elemental powers of expression and an incredible four-octave vocal range, Teodora’s astonishing instrument is a force of nature that is unforgettable. Teodora is a peerless, genre-defying vocalist who leaves audiences across the globe enthralled by her artistry.
This concert sees Teodora reuniting with the London Symphony Orchestra, who previously collaborated on their highly praised recording of Rhapsody. The recording received international acclaim, and this will be the first time they perform the repertoire together live.
This concert prefaces Romania’s National Day, celebrated every year on 1 December.
